4-Week TEF/TEFAQ Preparation Course

This comprehensive online course is specifically designed for those preparing for the TEF/TEFAQ/TEF CANADA/TEF IRN exams. It offers a detailed overview of the exam format, requirements, and an insight into the testing and evaluation methods. Spanning 24 hours, the course thoroughly addresses the four core competencies (reading, listening, writing, speaking) and focuses on effective strategies for successful test performance. This condensed online course, mirroring the comprehensive format, is tailored for those aiming to take the TEF/TEFAQ/TEF CANADA/TEF IRN exams. Offering an overview of the exam format and requirements, this 15-hour course focuses on the four competencies (reading, listening, writing, speaking), teaching effective test-taking strategies. Ideal for intermediate-advanced French speakers, it equips them for question formulation, task execution, and effective time management within a structured learning environment.

The program comprises 5 sessions of 3 hours each, conducted over a 1-week period, each targeting students’ specific needs and fostering autonomy in preparation for the TEF/TEFAQ exam.

Note: Intermediate French proficiency is strongly recommended for course enrollment. Given the course format, students should allocate adequate home study time to ensure exam success.

  • Feel comfortable in a francophone media environment (street signs, supermarket labels, subway advertising, government announcements, etc.);
  • Read newspapers, magazines and other novels easily and with pleasure.

 

Listening comprehension

  • Acquire listening strategies including vocabulary prediction, proactive listening, and paying particular attention to key words and paraphrases;
